Monday, UGH!!!!!

Mondays could be such a drag. You just got used to sleeping in on the weekend and now one has to wake up early to get ready for work while trying to keep your eyes open. Anyway, I'm still working on the 1st sleeve. I frogged it so many times it wasn't funny anymore. Hopefully the sweater will be complete before the weekend.

Flower Power Action Part Deux

I can't believe how quick I knitted this piece. I just need to do the sleeves. I'll do the flower later on cause I will need to felt the flower and sew it on. I love knitting in the round. I think all my sweater from now on are going to be in the round.

FO: Trumpet Sweater

I'm finally done with the Trumpet Sweater. I love how it came out but after looking at it some more, maybe a smaller yarn gauge could have made the sweater look better. Chunky Yarn doesn't look good on me because of my big ones. It make me look boxy.

Flower Power Action!!!

I'm on my way with the Flower Power sweater from Stitch N Bitch Nation. I'm using the Bernat Satin in Sage. It's coming along nicely.

Knitting in record time

It's amazing. I'm seeing a lot of project being knitted in record timing (16 days or less). I give it up to the women and men who can accomplish this, even more if they have kids and a full-time job. If they can give me some of their energy, that would be great.

Friday is here!!!!! 1/13/06

You cannot repeat this phrase enough. "Thank God it's Friday!!!" Although my day is not going to be done when 5 o' clock comes, I'm just glad that I could take it easy for a little until I get home to the kiddies and the hubby. I have so many project that I plan to knit but it seems I could never to get to them all. I'm finishing up the Trumpet sweater. I thought it was going to be a quick knit BUT it took longer cause the pattern didn't have instructions for larger sizes and the it looked horrible when I tried it on. I went back and knit with the correct numbers of stitches and needle size. As soon as I block it and weave in the ends, I'll post a picture of it. After this sweater, I'm going to start on the SNB Flower Power sweater. It's going to be a challenge because I'm going to knit it in the round when the pattern says to knit it flat.
